In Leviticus 19:17-18 said
"17 - You must not hate your fellow citizen in your heart. If your neighbor does something wrong, tell him about it, or you will be partly to blame. 18 - forget about the wrong things people do to you, and do not try to get even. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. I am the Lord."
the love your neighbor thingy is actually known to be the famous second greatest commands in the new testament (Matt19:19, 22:39, mark 12:31, 33; Romans 13:9, Galatians 5:14). It calls us to love and care for our neighbor as much as we love and care for ourselves. The new testament, especially the parable of the Good Samaritan, clarifies who our neighbor is. A neighbor is "anyone with whom we come in contact, who has a need, and whom we can help"
so.. in other words... everyone is actually our neighbor... do we really care for others?
